Nokia 6 sold out in less than a minute during a flash sale in China

The first flash sale of Nokia 6 smartphone in China resulted in the phone going out of stock in less than a minute after it became available on the Chinese e-commerce portal as reported by Anzhao. However, According to a leak, its estimated that about 1.5 million devices got sold in about 50 seconds.

The device is being manufactured by HMD global with the Nokia branding. Nokia 6 is the first device after it has stated to get back in to smartphones. It has crossed about 1 million registrations prior to the sale. This stats show the customer loyalty Nokia has gained over the years.


Nokia 6 comes with a 5.5-inch full HD display with pixel density about~403ppi and protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 1.4GHz octa-core processor running on Android 7.0 Nougat. It has also got 4 gigs of RAM and 64GB of mass storage and can be increased upto 128GB using external SD card. Other specs below

  • Rear camera: 16 million pixels, phase focusing PDAF, 1.0 um sensor, f / 2 aperture, dual tone flash
  • Front camera: 8 million pixels, 1.12um sensor, f / 2 aperture, the maximum wide-angle 84˚
  • Battery: Battery capacity 3000 mAh which is non-removable.
  • Up and down dual speakers, smart amplifier chip with Dolby Atmos Technology.

As far as now, everything looks good with device for its price around  1,699 Yuan ( approx. $250) but we need to wait for sometime to get the feedback from users and how far Nokia could gain the market share again.
