Oracle launches apps to provide insights and analysis from IoT data

Oracle IoT

Oracle announced the launch of four new cloud-based software solutions to give businesses actionable insights from the tracking of sensors connected to vehicles, machinery, and employees. These applications get smart with predictive, machine learning algorithms and quickly extend core SCM, CX, HCM and ERP processes—with real-time IoT data and insights.

Predictions made by the software cloud service give insights into when repairs are likely needed or when a supply chain disruption is likely to occur.

  • IoT Asset Monitoring Cloud automates workflows and monitors IoT data. Get real-time insights from connected assets to drive predictive maintenance, optimized SCM, and improved customer experiences.
  • IoT Connected Worker Cloud tracks employees for things like safety, service, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Ensuring worker health and safety, achieve better regulatory compliance, and gain real-time visibility into worker health, location, and work environment.
  • IoT Fleet Monitoring Cloud follows passenger activity and driver behavior. Delivering the predictive power of IoT to know when any connected vehicle needs service, adjust logistics operations, and avoid downtime.
  • IoT Production Monitoring Cloud monitors production equipment to assess and predict manufacturing issues.

The new apps are able to integrate with more than half a dozen other supply chain management solutions from Oracle.

These Oracle IoT applications can start automatic actions, predict the need for machine repairs, or track employee movements.
